Better Buddies Program

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Our year six and foundation students have buddied up! Through the Better Buddies program, children in foundation and year six pair up and learn important values through task-based play and teamwork. These values include caring for others, respect, valuing difference, including others and responsibility.

Better Buddies enables our foundation children to feel safe and cared for while our year sixes feel valued and respected. I would like to congratulate the year sixes who have shown immeasurable kindness and leadership skills so far. We can see that there are already some trusting friendships developing.

We have had the opportunity to play games, plant seeds in our veggie garden, read together and complete art activities in the classrooms.
